StellaGroup Acquires SWS UK

The French leader in sun protection and closure system market, StellaGroup, has announced their acquisition of CRH’s Shutters & Awnings (S&A) platform, which includes SWS UK.

Backed by PAI Partners, StellaGroup announced the acquisition back in April. This will enable StellaGroup to transition to become one of the main players in Europe.

CRH’s Shutters & Awnings platform, that SWS UK has been a part of for the past decade, is one of the largest producers of shutters, awnings and garage doors in Western Europe.

The acquisition is due to complete in Summer 2019 and will place SWS UK in a group that is purely focused on shutters, awnings, and other closure systems.

This will allow the companies within the group to continue to work together on continuous innovation and opportunities.

Brands within the group include SWS UK, Alulux, AVZ and Erhardt Markisen.
