Whilst SWS UK’s products are known for their excellent security benefits, they are sometimes used in situations which can be described as unconventional, yet still very effective! Here are a couple of examples below:
Shipping Container Receive the VIP Treatment
Could this be the most luxurious shipping container in the UK? SWS UK’s distributor, County Shutters installed a SeceuroGlide Sectional Elite garage door to this container at a unit in Wickford, Essex. Despite being slightly unconventional, the sectional garage door provided the perfect solution to securing the container and its contents.
As high value items were stored in the container, it was essential that it was left secured when not in use, however with headroom not being overly generous on this particular container, County Shutters came to the conclusion that an SWS SeceuroGlide Sectional would overcome the headroom issue as well as providing exceptional security. The container was to be accessed daily by a number of different employees so ease of operation also had to be considered. Fortunately, the SeceuroGlide Sectional is fully automated with simple and reliable controls. The client opted for the attractive yellow finish to match existing personnel doors and was very pleased with just how good it looked.
SeceuroShield 38 is Feline Friendly
Most clients looking for home security have a similar set of requirements, however one particular customer contacted County Shutters with another, very important consideration. They were looking to secure a vulnerable side entrance door where security was a concern, however they told County Shutters that their family cat used a cat flap in this particular door to access the garden. Not wanting to steal the cat of its freedom, the client was looking for a solution that wouldn’t compromise the security but left the cat free to come and go as he was used to.
County Shutters installed a SeceuroShield 38 to the owner’s door on their property in Runwell, Essex as it provided obvious security benefits but could be adapted to incorporate a cat flap at the bottom of the curtain. Their client was delighted and as you can see, the cat had no problem using his new door!
